Why did God save me ten times from death?

God’s protection and intervention in your life show His mercy, purpose, and sovereignty. Scripture teaches that God is intimately aware of every detail of your life: “The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good” (Proverbs 15:3). Every time He preserved your life, it was a demonstration of His personal care and love. One reason God saves is to fulfil His purposes in you. Your life is not random, and He has work for you to do: “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10). Each time He intervened, it allowed you to continue walking in His plan, to be a witness of His goodness, and to accomplish what He prepared for you.

Another reason is to testify of His faithfulness and glory. Psalm 34:19 says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” Your life story is evidence that God is real, powerful, and faithful. By saving you repeatedly, God has created a living testimony of His protection, which can encourage others to trust Him. God may also save to cultivate gratitude, humility, and dependence on Him. Experiencing His protection repeatedly reminds a person that life is a gift, not an entitlement.

It teaches trust: “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1). Each near-death experience can deepen faith and draw your heart closer to God. Finally, God’s preservation of your life may be a call to serve and bless others. Jesus said, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit fruit that will last” (John 15:16). Every time God spared your life, He gave you more opportunities to fulfil His purposes, encourage others, and demonstrate His love. In summary,
